The Ferret Scout Cars weapon system is a defence system not offensive (get in get out without being seen).

All the deactivated weapons in the pictures below have been deactivated to currant UK / US legislation.

 

Sterling SMG (Sub Machine Gun).

By all accounts the Ministry of Defence has not released any 'British' SMG's for deactivation (war reserve) and all the deactivated weapons currently in circulation come from other suppliers / countries. Whether this is true....
